HOT NEWS! ARIZONA PIANO WHOLESALE BELIEVES YOU SHOULD HAVE THE LATEST PIANO BUYING TIPS TO MAKE AN INFORMED BUYING DECISION. HERE ARE JUST A FEW THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE ON ANY PIANO.

EXTRA EXTRA - Read all about it in the news! Our "dollar" is falling
and new pianos have gone up in price!

The news is everywhere, our U.S. dollar has fallen in a BIG WAY against foreign currency. So what does this mean to all of us? Anything we buy that is made in or has parts coming from another country is costing us more than ever! However, if we lived in another country, we could buy things here for less money! That's why so many rich foreign investors own so much of our country right now! In fact, we are not so sure our country is really as "American" as we think we it is?!

As far as pianos go, nearly all pianos made these days come from a foreign country or has parts that come from those countries. Therefore most piano prices are going UP, UP, UP and will cost you more money in the future! Even though our economy is having problems, a good acoustic piano (especially a baby grand or full size grand piano) is still a great investment! This is because good quality brands like Wyman, Yamaha, Kawai, Shimmel, Bechstein, Boston, Bosendorfer, and many others, continue to increase in value while lasting longer than nearly anything you'll ever own. The only way for a piano company to keep their costs down, is to use inferior parts and replace natural wood with plastics or metal (which some companies have been doing lately)! So be careful!

Oh, and one more thing. With the unfortunate rise in oil prices, transportation & shipping costs are going through the roof (if you haven't noticed)! So you are the one who will be paying for these increased costs in the products that you purchase. The longer you wait to purchase your new piano, no matter what the brand is, the more you will pay! Hurry and get your best price now from Arizona Piano Wholesale on the products we offer! Whether you live in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson, Flagstaff, or on the moon, Arizona Piano Wholesale can probably help you...although shipping to the moon might be an extra charge:)

A cracked  "1-layer solid spruce soundboard" in a newer baby grand due to Arizona's very dry climate!

This photo was taken underneath a new famous name baby grand piano that was only 1-month old when the 1-layer "solid-spruce" soundboard cracks were discovered by the owner in their home in Phoenix, Arizona. This piano did not have the Tri-Phonic soundboard by Wyman Pianos, which is guaranteed not to crack, even under extreme conditions. Needless to say the owners were pretty upset. We found out that nearly 1 year later and after much expense, the situation was finally resolved by the manufacturer, but not without a lot of grief and down time! By the way, there is no such thing as a "solid spruce" soundboard, because it's NOT really solid. A "solid spruce" soundboard actually has "seams" between the wood strips (as you can see in the photo above) and therefore is NOT solid wood! If you don't want cracks in your soundboard, then make sure you get a Wyman piano with a "Tri-Phonic spruce soundboard" which avoids exposed seams that can crack!
