Announcement! Many Arizona piano & music stores have recently gone out of business.
Washburn Piano company, Herman & Sons Piano Merchants, Schroeders Piano, Guitar &
Keyboard City, & Quicks Music have all gone out of business within the last year or two. That's nearly twelve separate locations throughout the greater Phx area that have closed. Some of these companies were in business for 30, 40, and 50 years or more! Unfortunately, these store closings are due to our very challenging economy because it is very expensive to operate music stores and pay for all that "overhead cost."
The good news is that Arizona Piano Wholesale does not have high overhead cost because we operate without the need for an actual music store. We order our instruments factory direct wholesale which saves you money and allows us to stay in business to help you. __________________________________________________________________

A cracked "1-layer solid spruce soundboard" in a newer
Baby Grand due to Arizona's very dry climate!
The photo above was taken underneath a new "name brand" grand piano that was only 1-month old when the
1-layer "solid-spruce" soundboard cracks were discovered by the owner in their home in Phoenix, Arizona. This piano did not have the Tri-Phonic soundboard that Wyman Piano uses, which is guaranteed not to crack, even under extreme conditions. Needless to say the owners were very upset. By the way, there is no such thing as a "solid spruce" soundboard, because it's NOT really solid. A "solid spruce" soundboard actually has "seams" between the wood strips (as you can see in the photo above) and therefore is NOT solid wood! If you don't want cracks in your soundboard, then make sure you get a Wyman piano with a "Tri-Phonic spruce soundboard" which avoids exposed seams that can crack.
